Project Overview
This project aims to facilitate meaningful connections between Canadian professionals (Service Club members) and Ukrainian newcomers seeking employment. By organizing informal networking events such as coffee meetups and dinner gatherings, we create a platform for relationship-building, cultural exchange, and job opportunities. The initiative addresses the challenges faced by Ukrainian professionals in adapting to the Canadian job market and offers a unique way for local professionals to contribute directly to the integration process.
Job Opportunities
Increase the chances of Ukrainian newcomers finding meaningful employment by connecting them with local professionals.
Networking & Relationship Building

Event Format

Coffee Meetups:
- Format: Informal small group meetings over coffee.
- Location: Local cafes or community centers.
- Duration: 1-1.5 hours.
- Participants: 3-5 Service Club members and 5-7 Ukrainian newcomers.
- Goal: Encourage open conversations about professional backgrounds, career goals, and potential job opportunities.

Dinner Gatherings:
- Format: Small-group dinners to foster deeper connections.
- Location: Restaurants, private homes, or community spaces.
- Duration: 2-3 hours.
- Participants: 6-8 Rotary Club members and 6-8 Ukrainian professionals.
- Goal: Build trust and camaraderie, leading to potential mentorship and employment opportunities.
This project presents a valuable opportunity to bridge cultural and professional gaps while providing Ukrainian newcomers with essential support in their employment journey. By fostering genuine connections in a welcoming environment, we can create lasting impacts that benefit individuals and the broader community.
